west coast love by Cody Emberton

So I'm not big on writing. Maybe the more I blog the more I'll end up writing. Yeah!

I just returned from a short but jam packed trip from Phoenix, Arizona. I went to shoot Jessica & Sonny's engagement session. I had a blast getting to search for a location with the bride to be and my newest little bff Gunnar bear (Jessica & Sonny's son). The day after I shot their engagement session I took a road trip to Salvation mountain and also the tide pools in San Diego. Here are a few pictures from this week. Also, here's a link to learn more on Salvation Mountain. It's crazy but pretty cool.

Oh, side note-We originally planned to shoot at the Tonto National Monument Indian cliff dwellings. (The first couple of images are from the Tonto) However, our permit wasn't get approved in time for the shoot. Tears for days but we still were able to have an incredible engagement session!

One last thought to leave you with I LOVE THE WEST COAST. The vibes, the feels, the energy, the sun, & sand; plus it has shoot spots for days and days!

How the engagement session ended up. Stay tuned for a blog with a ton of images from Jessica & Sonny's gorgeous engagement session!
